Fungal infections of the skin occur in various parts of the body about which one must remain careful.Different types of fungal infections are: tinea versicolor, ringworm of the groin(tinea cruris), ringworm of the scalp (tinea capitis), ringworm of the body (tinea corporis), athlete’s foot(tinea pedis) fungus of nails (onychomycosis), intertrigo ( infections in a fold of body)
